Team Coding and SVN - The Payback

Hi all,

We found another problem with the coding team and svn, colabnet.
When we edit a file, a new sql file, sometimes this file stays "Available" when it should be allways "Uncontrolled".

Beacause they are test files...

These situations occur more often when we're editing code views, tables that do not exist yet. But it also happens with sql statements.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

Toad 11.6.1.

Thanks,

Hello Nelson,
I am seeing this when I create a new view file in the editor. Toad is treating it as an uncontrolled .sql file as and not reading the object type being created in the script.

I will try to get a fix for this in to the Toad Beta.

Stephen

Nelson,
I've re-read your post and do not fully understand the scenario you describe.

Can you post the steps where this behavior occurs.? Also, what Code Collection mask are you using to control objects?

Thanks
Stephen

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

It is not easy to reproduce the problem.
It happens sometimes when we are editing a new SQL file.

But i will try.

I have tried several scripts to recreate with no Code Collections, and so far had no luck. If you find some re-creatable steps let me know.

Thanks
Stephen

I Stephen,

I've found it, yeahhh, :o)

You must have, at least, to windows open, Schema Browser and Editor.

Simply switch from one to another, and the label on the editor switchs from Uncontrolled to Available.

Let me know if you managed to do it?

Thanks,
Nelson
