Help!

I have just received a new PC (Windows7) and installed Toad for Oracle 11.

On my old PC, where I was using Toad for Oracle 10, I created many named
Filters for each table in an Oracle Database that I work with.

Where are these filters stored, and how can I migrate them to my new PC?

Nancy:

I just went through this. C:\documents and settings should have been copied over; obviously not in your case. The Toad stuff Is located in C:\Documents and Settings\reedda\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle, where you substitute your user name for mine, reedda. You will need to get that directory from the old computer.

Grab your user files folder from your old 'User Profile Directory' and drop
them into your new 'User Profile Directory'

You can get the 'User Profile Directory' path by going to Help|Support
Bundle and locating the 'User Profile Directory'

Passwords won't be carried over.

Hope this helps.

Actually, if it's the same user login for Windows, the passwords should carry over as well.
