Connecting to ASM

Hi,

Wondering if this is still the way to connect to an ASM Instance using TOAD via ASM Manager ?

( The note says applicable till  Oracle Server Rel. 11.1 )


( Currently using 11.2.0.3.5 Rac nodes )

Yes - the (UR=A) parameter is the critical piece. Also note that in Toad you do NOT connect to the ASM instance on the connection screen. You use the ASM tnsnames connection only on the ASM manager screen.
